Refinery Products
This World Petrochemical (WP) report on Refinery Products contains complete global and country supply/demand balances for the base year, the past five years and five and ten year projections; production, consumption and trade is broken out by refined product. The complete report including the analyses and supply/demand tables contains approximately 170 pages. There is also a table showing projected capacity additions for Crude Oil units by producer, location, and (average daily) capacity of the increments, as well as a listing of total crude unit (base year) capacities by major global producers.

Abstract
Global consumption of refinery products in 2010 was approximately 3.2 billion metric tons. The current demand forecast assumes growth of 2.7% in 2011 from 2010, and average growth of 1.2% per year from 2010 to 2020.
Gas oil/diesel accounted for about 38% of total consumption of refinery products in 2010, followed by motor gasoline with 29%. The following pie chart shows world consumption of refinery products in 2010 by end use.
