Polypropylene
This World Petrochemical (WP) report on Polypropylene contains complete global and country supply/demand balances for the base year, the past five years and five and ten year projections. The complete report including the analyses and supply/demand tables contains approximately 240 pages. There is also a table showing all global producers, their locations, and capacities (current, historical and future) to produce Polypropylene as well as capacities for derivative products.

Abstract
Global consumption of polypropylene in 2010 was approximately 48.4 million metric tons. Global capacity utilization was 82% in 2010, down from 84% in 2009. Polypropylene consumption is estimated to have increased by 6.8% in 2010; it is forecast to average growth of around 5.4% per year from 2010 to 2015, slowing to 4.5% per year from 2015 to 2020. As a result of considerable capacity additions, utilization rates are expected to decline in 2010, but gradually increase afterwards to the low to high-90s range by the end of the forecast period.
The primary markets for polypropylene are in fibers and injection molding, which together account for around 60.7% of the total global consumption. Other applications include film & sheet and blow molding production.
The following pie chart shows world consumption of polypropylene by end use:
