WP Report
Ethylbenzene
This World Petrochemical (WP) report on Ethylbenzene contains complete global and country supply/demand balances for the base year, the past five years and five and ten year projections. The complete report including the analyses and supply/demand tables contains approximately 125 pages. There is also a table showing all global producers, their locations, and capacities (current, historical and future) to produce Ethylbenzene, as well as capacities for derivative products.

Abstract
Global production and consumption of ethylbenzene in 2010 were around 29.2 million metric tons. Global capacity utilization was 80% in 2010, lower than in 2009. Global ethylbenzene consumption is estimated to have decreased in 2010 by 3% from 2009; it is expected to grow an average 3.1% per year from 2010 to 2015, slowing to 2.7% per year from 2015 to 2020. Average global utilization rates are expected to range from the high-70s range to the low-90s range throughout the forecast period.
Essentially all ethylbenzene is consumed in the production of styrene.
