Publication Support Specialist

SRI Consulting (SRIC), a division of Access Intelligence, LLC, is looking for a Publication Support Specialist to join its Menlo Park, CA Production team. The successful candidate will be an extremely detail-oriented, highly organized document specialist who will provide publication support for SRIC’s high-end chemical business-to-business publication services.

This position requires a range of publication capabilities including:

  • Word processing and document formatting of large, complex technical documents using MS Word
  • Proofreading and copy editing and quality-control editing of reports on chemical markets and technology
  • General web publishing expertise using HTML, Dreamweaver or similar tools
  • Graphics implementation skills for collateral material and websites would be a plus

Candidate should have 3-5 years of word processing, document formatting, editing and proofreading experience in a deadline-driven professional publishing environment. Excellent communication skills are essential. Strong MS skills are required. Familiarity with the chemical industry and chemical nomenclature is desirable. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience.
