Manual of Current Indicators

The Manual of Current Indicators (MCI) provides updates of published data for the tables in the CEH studies that are marked "See MANUAL OF CURRENT INDICATORS for additional information."

The updates are of three kinds:

  • Revisions of data already published in the Handbook.
  • Annual data that become available subsequent to publication of the Handbook pages.
  • Monthly or quarterly data that are comparable to or indicative of annual series in the Handbook. These related data tables show a maximum of three years of data and serve as an aid in determining whether a current change reflects a seasonal of cyclical pattern, represents a random occurrence, or indicates a long term trend.

The MCI is published semiannually. Subscribers to the web version of the CEH program may CLICK HERE to view the pdf file containing these updates.
